One of the hottest fashion trends started at colleges
and their Greek communities, but now the trend has hit
the retail crowd and is popular with schools, fans, teams, and corporate
events: Spirit Jerseys.
Spirit Jerseys are long sleeve 100% cotton T-Shirts
with seams in different places and a lot of fabric under the arms. There is a
billboard like area on the back that allows for a 24” wide print that extends
across the entire back of the shirt and onto the shoulders or sleeves. This
print is typically just words.
When it comes to
decorating these jerseys, think BIG. Screenprints across the back shoulder, printed
textures and puff ink are the most popular decorating methods. However, the
garment allows for an array of embellishments, such as screen printing, embroidery,
transfers, vinyl, rhinestones or mixed media, in a variety of locations.
