The 2013 Color of the Year

Pantone has announced the 2013 Color of the Year!

The winner of the prestigious honor is . . . Emerald!

According to Pantone, this color was chosen because it "enhances our sense of well-being by further inspiring insight, as well as promoting balance and harmony."

"Green is the most abundant hue in nature - the human eye sees more green than any other color in the spectrum," said Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute®. "As it has throughout history, multifaceted Emerald continues to sparkle and fascinate. Symbolically, Emerald brings a sense of clarity, renewal and rejuvenation, which is so important in today's complex world. This powerful and universally appealing tone translates easily to both fashion and home interiors."

Now it's time to make your promotions sizzle with this lively radiant, lush green color!  If green hues are not part of your logo, there is still plenty of room for this color in your 2013 marketing efforts. Use the hit color as a background to make your logo pop! Or, use subtle additions of Emerald as a border or for a tag line.
